Founder & CEO — AeroSafe Africa
Maj. (Rtd.) Morris Maingi is a decorated military aviator and internationally certified aviation safety expert with decades of operational and strategic experience across Kenya, the United States, and Australia. In 1989, he served as a Maintenance Test Pilot at Fort Eustis, Virginia, USA — one of the U.S. Army's premier aviation centers — where he honed precision aircraft evaluation and airworthiness testing skills that define his safety-first philosophy to this day.
A holder of the Order of the Grand Warrior of Kenya (OGW(K)) — one of Kenya's highest state honours — and the Medal of the Aviation Merit (MAvM, Australia), Morris is also a certified IATA Deep Strategic Airport Operations specialist. His mission: to eliminate preventable aviation incidents across Africa through digital transformation, predictive intelligence, and a culture of proactive safety management.
